Research has shown most families (and even the elderly themselves) would prefer to have their elderly cared for in their own homes when they travel/work rather than sending them to a carehome/facility. Malini Gowrishankar, F5Escapes

In Malini’s own words, this is how she defines her mission and work –

My purpose in life is to make India an amazing place for women to travel. That the mission of F5 Escapes, my 4+ years old travel company. So far, we have enabled over 1000 women take the plunge and travel, conducted over 25 community meetups in the name of #JustGo across 6 cities in India, enabled several women open on tabooed topics which aren’t spoken about otherwise, in the name of #RendezvousWithF5, helped women upskill themselves and stay confident on the road with our Motrobiking lessons. We have even counseled families to happily accept the woman’s decision to travel by herself.  My dream India is a place where women from across the world would freely travel, without inhibitions, fear or stigma whatsoever.

More women are travelling than ever before, and f5Escapes is also using social media in innovative ways to build and grow this community.
