You looked so calm,
You looked so serene,
You took a deep breath and raised your hands,
I kept looking at you waiting for you to turn.
And then you looked around and you smiled at the world,
And you looked at me but you didn’t see me,
You had a beard that you never had before,
You looked so handsome and you looked so happy,
And I kept standing there watching you smile….
