The best thing that has come along with it is the change in perception of this sport in both big cities and small towns. As a result, more and more parents are keen to send their daughters to play cricket and join female cricket academies.

This academy is located in Guntur and is associated with the Andhra Cricket Association. One of the most reputed academies in the state, it was inaugurated by some of the best Indian female cricketers- Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami.
It has a great ground to practice with bowling and catching machines and is one of India’s top female cricket academies. The coaches assess each student’s strengths and weaknesses and trains them accordingly.
This academy aims at teaching cricket by integrating modern coaching techniques with state-of-the-art technology.
Their faculty consists of a team of qualified coaches and cricket trainers that teach students new methods to cope with the ever-growing demands in the field.
The HPCA is probably one of the oldest cricket academies in the country. Anurag Thakur inaugurated this academy, and the training for girls takes place in the Dharamshala cricket stadium. Girls are selected based on their performance in the trials conducted by the academy.
Renowned cricketer Sushma Verma is a product of this academy. Their facilities include state-of-the-art technology, a rehabilitation centre, running & training analysis, etc., making it one of India’s top female cricket academies.
As its name suggests, this academy is exclusively for girls, and its primary objective is to showcase their talent and inspire women to enjoy cricket at all levels.
Located centrally in Mumbai at Dadar Shivaji Park, it makes it convenient for girls to commute easily between the academy and home.
Twenty2yards Academy is a cricket academy in Pune that focuses on imparting cricket coaching to both girls and boys. They have modern facilities, including a bowling machine, artificial pitches, top-grade turf, video analysis etc.
Located in Mehsana, a rural area north of Gujrat, this academy aims at empowering young girls and women by making cricket a viable career option for them.
It employs state-of-the-art coaching facilities to teach and develop budding cricketers in the city. The academy offers coaching free of cost to women as well as specially challenged and economically backward people.
VCA is affiliated with the Baroda Cricket association since 2016, and it was in 2017, after the women’s cricket world cup, they began coaching girls. Several Indian national cricket players visit this academy from time to time to guide the students.
They offer facilities like five centre wickets, two cement wickets, three turf wickets, a Hoko bowling machine, a bowling spot counter, and so much more.
The Aryan Cricket Academy’s founder, Mr Aryan Rathore, is a cricket enthusiast who also plays for the Delhi Cricket team.
This academy aims to provide beginner-level and professional coaching to girls and women of all ages. They use modern coaching techniques and help with gear and equipment.
With women’s cricket garnering immense popularity, such academies hope to churn out players trained in professional-level cricket.
