Poem: My Ukrainian sister, my heart and yours merge, Tiny bits of golden happiness. I sift from falling stardust, even in dark, scary, smoggy, wintery nights. I send you the light and love to mergeI. feel your silent, sad presence. Your loss walks with me...
Listening to the sounds of nature
I walk in the greens
Watching the sun setting in oceans afar
Waves go home to rest; they merge
My soul talks to the wind
Creatures of the night come alive to
Whisper their secret songs
I am them for the moment; we merge
At home in my nest
Sipping wine, nibbling cheese
An unknown melody plays in me
My Ukrainian sister, my heart and yours merge
Tiny bits of golden happiness
I sift from falling stardust, even in
Dark, scary, smoggy, wintery nights
I send you the light and love to merge
I feel your silent, sad presence
Your loss walks with me
My Ukrainian Sisters living far beyond my borders
I send prayers for kindness and peace to emerge!
