You violate your soul When you put up with people who devalue and disrespect you, Because the norms dictate, IF you are decent that’s what you do.
You violate your soul when your whole being says no, But you say yes anyway, Because you are expected to say so. You violate your soul when you trade the sanctity of your being, With a lack of self love and being genuine. When you cover your truth with layers of facade, Believing this is the shield to protect your heart.
Funny you think violation is only of the mind and body? When you intuitively know you violate your soul, When you refuse to just be, And set your wild soul be free.
