I’m a Post Graduate in Business Journalism, but decided to leave my job at Press Trust of India to impact the financial journey of many women, like myself by creating the Women On Wealth platform in 2011.
I created wealth for myself first but when I looked back, my women colleagues were in the same space. I said to myself that if we do not challenge the status quo, women will continue to be financially dependent the way they are.
Community is our secret ingredient. We have different different communities for women and a safe space where women can talk/share about their challenges. We are also India partners with Cherie Blair Foundation for Women. We nominate our community members to get Free online world class mentoring for one year.
