Women’s Web is saying Goodbye! Please make sure you read this important notification.
Teenage is that time in life when many things change, the world looks a new place and one sees himself/herself differently.
I woke up as a teen, Tiny pimples on my face were easily seen. A cute little girl I have always been. But, today I bid goodbye to my pre-teen.
I am now anxious to hit puberty, And wondering if I will have a lot more liberty? I Still fancy boy bands and chocolate bars, But, I am no longer scared of bruises and scars.
To get what I want, I would usually cry, To ask what I need, I am no longer shy. I now think in a practical way, When things matter, I Will ALWAYS have a say.
I also realize transition is my constant mate, It will surprise and shock me at a consistent rate. Now, I am a new girl, Young and smart The cute little one will always be a part.
Happy Thirteenth Birthday to ME.
