Women’s Web is saying Goodbye! Please make sure you read this important notification.
A poem about self discovery, gratitude and about living life unapologetically. Read on!
The known threw pebbles at me,
thinking that it would scare me.
But, I collected them in a wheelbarrow,
built a home which was straight and narrow.
I sowed the thin layer of sunflower seeds
Working hard to feed my needs.
I have learnt to choose my battles,
And I care a damn about those known rattles!
Others have a lot of objection,
But, I flow in my direction.
No kidding! Tough is this living,
And I know it’s just a beginning.
Don’t judge me, this is my choice,
I am not rude, my life my voice!
Gratitude! I am happy within,
And my universe knows, it’s not a sin!
