The Woman In Me Is Fearless, Fierce And Trying Everyday

The woman in me is present in every woman who tries to be brave everyday. However, I t we are not obligated to always be brave and suffer.

The woman in me is gullible.
She often greets smiling faces with affection and hang on their words.
She calls it “morality” and I don’t blame her.
The woman in me is capable.
She doesn’t succumb to trolls.
The insignificant beings who try to slit her wings of liberation.
The woman in me is sensible.

She doesn’t waste her energy on irrational minds.
Perseverance and self-respect are her companions.
The woman in me is mature;
She understands the relevance
of silence yet being forthright.
The woman in me is fearless and fierce;
Someday she is more wolf than woman.

They won’t tell you fairytales of how girls can be dangerous and still win.
But the woman in me is also scared,
To accept her vulnerability as her reality.
The woman in me is insecure;
She quotes ‘the manipulator dances with a partner who cons herself’.
The woman in me is an art;
And sometimes, of course, art creates the suffering in the first place.

Most evidently, The woman in me matters
She transcends adversities every day and accumulate strength.
The Woman in me is me.

The woman in me does not need society to decide how a woman should be

The woman in me is present in every woman who tries to be brave everyday. I just want to tell them it’s not our obligation to be brave and grapple with sufferings. We want to accept ourselves and our every emotion.
My womanhood doesn’t need labels. It doesn’t need society to decide how a woman should be. I’m a woman and I know that well. After being a woman the way I behave should be a way of womanhood.
