Women’s Web is saying Goodbye! Please make sure you read this important notification.
Hello! I am Jaya Rajgopalan. I quit my job as a computer teacher to pursue my interests and passions in life. I acquired special interest and inquisitiveness on energy healing techniques for good health and completed my advance courses in Reiki and Pranic healing which are two very effective energy healing techniques for the human body. Reading, writing, cooking and yoga are my key interests in life. The book "Autobiography of a yogi", made a strong impression in my mind . After reading that book, I practiced meditation seriously . Meditation has helped me strengthen my mind and take strong and bold decisions in life. This has also made me inquisitive to read various books on soul and philosophy of karma in life. I would like to use "women's web" as a platform to highlight the struggles and problems faced by the women especially in India. My maiden Novel "Transformation" on human empowerment was launched at Oxford book stores, Kolkata on April 17th, 2017. Transformation is a revolutionary novel to make the youth and parents aware of the social prejudices and bias prevailing in India on important topics like gender bias, transgender issues of gender dysphoria, parental pressures on their children in choosing the life partner & career, dowry system, lack of sex education in schools leading to misinformation on sex etc . The aim is to create awareness , which will bring a big transformation in the Indian psyche for a developed and transformed India. The novel is gaining popularity and has been gifted to leading institutes like XLRI Library (Jamshedpur) and some Engineering colleges in Kolkata.
