Kasturi Patra

Kasturi’s debut novel, forthcoming in early 2021, had won the novel pitch competition by Half Baked Beans Publishers. She won the Runner Up Position in the Orange Flower Awards 2021 for Short Fiction. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in several literary magazines including Jaggery, Litbreak, Strands Lit Sphere, Wordweavers, 50-Word Stories, Lakeview International Journal, and TMYS Review She has been a part of many anthologies such as Bengal Write Ahead, Escape Velocity, Kunti’s Confessions, When Women Speak Up, and EquiVerseSpace. One of her stories was adapted into a film and won in the 'Best Short Film' category at the 2020 Tagore International Film Festival. She is in the reading team of Voyage, one of the most prestigious international literary magazines, that publishes fiction and CNF in the young adult category Currently, she is pursuing an MFA in Fiction from Writers' Village University. Kasturi resides in New Delhi with her husband, two dogs, and two cats. She lives by the teachings of Dr. Joe Dispenza and practices his meditations every morning. She is a voracious reader who loves travelling, eating, and exercising.
