A Post graduate from Symbiosis Center for Management and Human Resource Development, Pune, Lisa Suwal hails from the family of leading meat purveyors in the country – Prasuma. Growing up in a family involved in delicatessen business for over 30 years, she has always been exposed to the nitty-gritty of the business and the art of making good food. A young and seasoned marketer, she is known for her innovative approach towards brands and alluring business perspective. Lisa started her career as a Research Associate at Technopak Advisors wherein she worked on various projects focusing on retail sector. She spent next 5 years of her career at L’Oreal where she got the chance to work for the some of the leading brands in the world - Maybelline New York and Garnier. This was one of her early foray into marketing, Sales and integrated-communication development and it truly shaped her understanding of consumer market. Gaining the outer world experience and understanding the key challenges faced by the unorganized meat industry, Lisa joined Prasuma in 2017. Her sheer perseverance and cognitive approach helped her in building a formal business structure and streamlining the processes which are the major challenges faced by any family business. Right from the beginning she spearheaded in all areas of the business – right from the store to floor to an overall brand level. Determined to not let ‘Prasuma’ become just another meat brand, she pays special attention to quality and the packaging of the product. All the products are vacuum skin packaged using barrier films imported from New Zealand which is considered to be the best in the world. An avid reader, Lisa’s favorite book is MindSet by Carol Dwek that highlights the fact simple idea can make all the difference. She has always been a passionate traveller who loves exploring new places, experiencing natural sceneries and experimenting with local food. She even took to diving like a fish to the water and today she is an advance water diver. Lisa is a conversationalist and a socially aware person who believes in No wastage of Food. Focused on her goals and confident in her approach, she will be launching many new product categories in Prasuma.
