A mother of two boys, a wife, a daughter, daughter in law, and a writer by choice, that's what I define myself. I presently reside Kenya, as per the job preference of my husband, for the last one decade. Since 2004, I left my home town Kolkata, following my husband who headed several companies in the African continent. Today the boys are seventeen and ten, time flies. Having worked in MNC's and also as a marketing manager in a creative agency, I always wanted to be a writer since I left my job after delivering my second son. Opportunity striked in 2011, when I started writing my blog, ' swetawriter' which got acclaimed both in the domestic and international platforms. I authored a book called ' Magical tiffin box' and two other books which are doing well in all platforms. Jostling time between my motherly responsibilities, and my passion which is writing, I often have to compromise my sleep ( meeting deadline of course). But Sundays are my very desired, relaxed mornings where my dear husband never fails to serve me bed tea. Cheering with friends, planning parties, dancing crazily are some of my traits I am known for , beside being actively associated with a charitable organization run by the Indian diaspora. Life is always a colorful kite to me, flying places and flying high with leaps and bounds. Last but not the least, I am foodie and a home cook, travel freak and a movie freak, I wish my mental age doesn't grow beyond sixteen.
