Internship Opportunities With Women’s Web

Women’s Web offers internship opportunities to students as well as women on a career break.

We look for people who are keen to learn, interested in the realities & challenges of Indian women’s lives, are cued into current events, and have a strong work ethic.

Please read our guidelines closely before applying: 

• Most of our internships are part-time (need approximately 2 hours of your time every day/10-12 hours per week). Part-time internships are unpaid; we do periodically offer full-time internships that are announced separately, and paid for. The form below is meant to help you apply for part-time internships only.
• All part-time internships are usually for a 3-month period. In case you have a constraint that does not allow you to commit to this period, please mention it in your application.
• Daily attendance on week days is a must.

All those who complete an internship will receive a certificate of work experience from us.

Here is a note on the work involved in various internships.

(1) Social Media internship

• This internship will revolve around social media, including creating collaterals for use on all our social properties, writing on issues based on social media commentary, working on social analytics and anything else around social media

(2) Writing/Editing internship (English/Tamil/Hindi)

• This internship will revolve around various kinds of writing, from personal opinions to topical commentary to listicles, research-based and interviews. It will also involve assisting the editor on proofing, editing and preparing posts for publication

(3) Marketing & Events

• This internship will revolve around creating case studies, working on key Women’s Web digital events and other activities as part of the marketing team
