She has had significant stints as Vice President leading Financial Services Market Units at Capgemini India , as Sr. Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and various Leadership roles at Sapient Corporation. She calls her professional journey “not a ladder” rather a “jungle-gym”, quoting the popular Lean In metaphor. Her career graph lacks no excitement with diverse experiences from varied industries. She believes that has helped shape her business acumen as solutions to a business problem in one industry usually come from inspiration and learning from a different industry. She reminisces over the life-altering lessons she learnt early in her career - inclusion, courage and social contribution that she learnt from the top-notch manufacturing and multi-brand leader like Titan Industries Ltd , the crown-jewel in the Tata conglomerate. She calls herself a Global citizen from India and through her experience working with teams and leaders from US , Europe, LatAM and APAC , she vouches that whatever your nationality and culture - connectedness, empathy , respecting others are the ingredients to building long lasting trust and professional relationships. She is a committee member in the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FICCI) Ladies organization (FLO) and has been contributing to the Skill development and economic empowerment of women at grass-root level through various partnerships and Alliances with socially-responsible organizations and entities across the spectrum on economic improvement , skilling , education and awareness to women and communities at grassroot level. She is passionate about the role of diversity in high performing teams and to her gender is only one of the paradigms . Of late she is keenly watching the dynamics of new age, millennial workforce and how businesses and HR teams are changing themselves ; She is a strong advocate of everyday innovation . An avid reader, solo traveler and a music aficionado , her weakness is handloom sarees and Indian fabrics. She is a co-founder of Vishwam Creations, a name synonymous to exclusive artisanal sarees in Bangalore and works with a small cluster of weavers in Tamil Nadu to promote their creations. She is also the co-founder of The Music Movement , a platform to facilitate young musicians to experiment and innovate .
