The rage that we as parents feel at such incidents should smack us in the face and propel us to speak. Our silence at such heart-wrenching incidents makes us complicit ... somewhere.

“Courage comes at a price,” for the officers, especially women, who go against the orders of their seniors, even as they are doing the 'right thing'.

The series is all about women, the protagonist is a woman and so are many significant characters. They are regular women, they wear regular clothes, they err, they struggle, they succeed, and there is no over the top  drama.

Men yell at other men all the time. Sometimes, the men even come to blows. But almost never is a video shot and made viral. And even less is a complaint made, unless there was physical violence.

Their walk was almost always on a circular route around their own white house. A house that waited for them always. Where those who had raised them, prayed for their safe return all the time, each day. But even before they could turn left, things took a grotesque turn.
